Rachel on New Years Eve Y2k
"Damn" thought Rachel, "the one time it's going
to make sense to play that stupid Prince song and wouldn't
you know it . . . someone broke the CD player." Rachel further
pondered if anyone would be really amused by her sarcastic
tone if they could somehow know what she was thinking.
"I
hate the fact the whole town has to be at the school gym for
New Years Eve, just in case the Y2K bug
hits a nuclear reactor and we all die a slow and horrible death.
I have much better things to do, like rioting and looting.
I hate this school and I hate this town," Rachel thought.
"We all hate her." Thought
the town.
Rachel
did see a plus side to the whole town being in the school gym
at the same time, no one could stop
her from blowing up the rest of the school. Her plan was quite
genius actually. Rachel snuck out of the gym to make sure everything
was ready.
First
she went to her locker to get her pet rabbit, Chuck Yeager.
She carefully explained the plan to her
pet rabbit, Chuck Yeager. "For some stupid reason, the town
listened to Brandon when he suggested that the town drop a
giant replica of a cockroach instead of a ball, to be different
from New York City and to symbolize the Y2K *bug*. What kind
of stupid logic is that? I hate Brandon . . . he's such a .
. . Magical Mystery Doughnut!" Rachel continued to rant and
rave and explained that she had hooked up a microphone so that
when the town reached yelled "one" in the countdown, the rest
of the building would explode and they'd blame it on the Y2K
bug, and not her. Rachel checked over her explosives and was
about to head back to the gym when she realized she had to
pee like a racehorse. So she went to the bathroom, but her
pet rabbit, Chuck Yeager, had to wait outside because he is
a he.
Meanwhile
the town had been playing dodge ball in the gym. And the game
had just ended. Brandon was so excited
that he didn't lose for a change he began screaming "I won!
I won!"
While
sitting on the toilet, Rachel heard Brandon's screams echoing. "Brandon
won at dodge ball, but it almost sounds like they started the
countdown early," She though with a chuckle, "Oh
shit that's really bad, I'm going to get blown up and die with
my pants around my ankles. Damn those words that sound alike
but are spelled different and have different meanings, if only
I'd paid attention in English class I'd remember what they
were called. . .”
And then the school blew up and Rachel died.
