Crut's Bad Poetry Corner : Thanksgiving
T - is for Thanksgiving, the reason I write this
poem.
H - is for is for Hank Williams Jr. He's that guy who goes "Are
you ready for some football?!?" But that's for Monday night
football, so I guess it doesn't have anything to do with
Thanksgiving after all.
A - is for Adam Sandler. He sang a song about Thanksgiving.
N -
is for New Kids on the Block (A.K.A. NKOTB)
. I'm thankful they didn't last very long.
K - is for Kris Kross. I'm thankful they didn't last very long
either.
S - is
for Scott, as in Willard Scott. His commentary on the
Macy's parade balloons is a Thanksgiving tradition.
G - is
for Gravy. Did anyone ever see that SNL commercial parody for
Crystal Gravy? It's so funny! Because it was making fun of Crystal
Pepsi.
I - In
the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion sleeps tonight. Okay
you over there go "aweeeeee aweee wohm mah way" and
you all over there go "a whem a whop a wheem a wop." It'll
be cool. Trust me.
V - is
for Valentine's Day, the reason I. . . . oh wait that's in February.
I - is for Idiot.
Which is what I was for three years in a row when I misspelled
Thanksgiving by leaving out the second "I".
N - is for New underwear. If you can't be thankful for that, what
can you be thankful for?
G - is
for Grape nuts. Who needs turkey when you have grape
nuts?
